THE DISTRICT ROAD ADMINISTRATION represents THE EXECUTIVE AGENCY "ROADS" in the District of Pleven and interacts with the local administration.

It performs activities connected with the administration and exploitation f the republican road network with a length of 800 km pursuant to the Roads Act and also activities connected with the improvement of the safety of the road network of which it is in charge.

Conducts procedures of assigning public procurements for work under the repair programs, current repairs and maintenance of the republican road network.

Exercises control over the quality of the performed work.

Prepares evaluations and makes prognoses on the basis of analyses about the repairs and the current maintenance of the roads.
